Puzzled!

He spends hours searching for a good cell phone plan, cable plan, car insurance.
There are always so many choices.
If you do not do the research, you will be ripped off, right?
After all, how do you know if you chose a reasonable option.

He waits a year for a big screen TV to become older technology, and thus cheaper.
He does the same for iPhone.
He spends weeks calling different lenders before deciding on a loan for his house.
He spends half an hour of his time, which is worth half of his hourly rate, to correct a five dollar mistake in a bill.
Somethings are either worth or necessary to spend time for.

He goes to India on a three week vacation.
Meets a girl for the first time in a party.
He decides he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
That, he is sure of!
That, he does not need more time for!
